I backed up 2.6 gb of ‘junk’ to dvd, and after checking it was ok I then deleted that stuff from disk – DVD is a really nice Backup way to go.
It will be nice when those dual media disks come down in price, affordable now yes, but hard to source.
Dvd is clever because you can get 4.7 gb on a single disk, double that on a dual layer. Makes cd/r seem so limited and it sure beats a slow tape drive.
