There are some rumours that microsoft might be buying the internet with yahoo whom i think own flickr, and now ebay. Now why it is just speculation I would be happy to renounce my yahoo mail account should that happen – and ebay is full of crooks (like this one) anyhow.
If Microsoft buy yahoo,or ebay – then yahoo will become unfriendly towards mac users who probably might find they cant use Flickr (my view) in the future because they have the wrong operating system.
Whether the yahoo webmail beta now that needs an new mac os, or windows is the sign of things now at yahoo, just think that list might only say windows if microsoft bought it.
If you have Microsoft shares, or are a mac owner and pay Flickr for a service, I'd lay off renewing it, while i don't like Yahoo's antics in China (or microsoft's either there) I won't support a Microsoft company.
Yahoos ceo is now paid on stock options, so go make your mind up
