Freakyness in Internet explorer 8 warnings ahoy

Acid test ok ? probably not, and some weird Microsoft ‘compatibility’ additions to html have got a lot of people a little ‘worried’ about ie8 (or an advertisers/spam bots wet dream).

A new additional computer has been bought for an monkey, its a laptop and i got tasked with removing all those evil things like ie from windows since it was forced – if you buy a pc, your keeping Billy Gates in socks somewhere with the purchase – hence the ‘windows tax’.

I am keeping away from ie8, and if Microsoft do fuck with html pages then im not going to fix them to work with ie8, well i will by telling ie8 users to get say firefox and use something else.

Our pages render and be xhtml valid so that should already foo bar them being that was two years ago when we last looked at the zoo’s website.

Speaking of retardness – on the bbc news channel if its on sometimes we catch something called ‘click’* may be clunk where some lame brained lady journalist (i will refrain from giving the honourable title of geek**) called a site ‘designed for vista’  Oh dear.

‘null points’

Html isnt a something you can only use with windows, and i would wish that the lame brained female Journalist should also know that Open Office is good even in corporate environment – not just ‘as an additonal thing on the usbdisk’

Bbc ‘clunk’ on the news channel is a bit retarded but then even journalists have to praise the ‘vista website’ innovation Mircosoft seem to desire that it is better than the html standards.

Quite why even ‘independent’ journalists at the bbc cannot critique Microsoft means its something that everybody can ignore.
