Whatever the case, and where, it could come here too. The danger is that it retards dvr’s running windows and will eventually hurt the television companies.
To avoid this all you have to do is avoid Microsoft software, also query your salesman for a written assurance that your dvr does not support it when buying a tv/programme content.
If they refuse to do that walk away and keep your money.
Our video recorder just gained some new features, the dvr might be newer but who says new is better ?
