bbc 1 is a tv channel for retards and no place for torchwood
Torchwood (search this blog) is a show i have learned to like even as a spinoff of a dr who which I have low expectations these days although the parents tv show suffers from bad writing and idiotic lawyers (my blog).
Torchwood has moved tv channels a lot from bbc three to bbc two and now (to its detriment) bbc one where most viewers are idiotic retards at the bbc[no the monkey house does not watch a lot a tv to start with].
An average season of s/f is about 13 episodes, granted it is a lot of work, not all of them work as ideas and the number of seasons before you start rehashing old stories is set something between seven and ten seasons.
So how does this ‘upgrade’ to bbc one help torchwood ? – we get 5 episodes and thats it. Thank you so much bbc. It’s like killing it.
Ideally any story dramtised should get its point across, conclude without rehashing (im thinking battlestar galactica) and get some recognition. If the bbc wishes to terminate Torchwood then please do so, but don’t make it crap as a justification.
Bbc one as a tv channel ‘lacks’ everything and is a good benchmark of everything bad that is on television in england on a par with itv, thus Torchwood needs a better home and better support.
