Charlie and his crack team of zoo security guards as a joke recorded the film imdb tt1055366 (camp rock) for us after I mentioned to them that we* all saw the film imdb tt0342167 (camp made in 2003) on the tv one evening.
Summer camps where never our thing to start with so this strange part of american life that there children do and subsequently filmed into a very sweet and sour version seemed worthy of a blog post here.
Made as an independent film in 2003, camp deals with the more odd members of american teenagers, and shocking dealings with sex and alcoholism, we also discovered that Stephen Sondheim is not dead yet either.
We all liked camp and recommend a view of it. Now on to charlie and camp rock which in many respects is a copy of camp (the first film) which disney made in 2008 but is so sickly sweet, heterosexual plus the kitchen sink thrown in too.
In fact the word corporate would be better as an apparently famous teen manufactured boy pop band also star in this film while they try an independent voice rather than sing covers of hits.
Theres a little amount of bitchiness, and the usual performing song and dance numbers on cue like we all see expect in disney films. Naturally all ends happily ever after – a strange sickly film

Anyhow i do recommend a see a camp 2003 for a laugh.
