Was rejected by the 2009 booker judges (my views on the 2009 longlist and shortlist books ) and is isbn 9780575083561.
The book is a stab at alternate history, stalin and russia, however things like the $c of $s, and at least one pun make this book certainly not a winner if it was ever shortlisted.
However i read it, which is more than you can say for the odd people whom choose the usual themes from the same boring authors.
