No drm on the old tv sets
Freeview plus is one of those adaptive technology that in theory allows you watch and record something else, without resorting to getting a phd in trying to record something with a video recorder which depending on lack of scart sockets, and tuners means it can be a very hit and miss business with channels, timers on several things and multiple points of failure.
Somehow i doubt it will be needed since most of tv is rubbish but it is how it is advertised that should give you all a warning – it suggests you can record some crap bbc show and an itv soap opera*.
Notice that films are not in that list, to me that suggests evil drm and of no use.
* why would you want to record such junk ?
