Deltron 3030
Is something worth hearing which i discovered by accident. It is rap I do not think much of but even though it is 2000-ish deals with the future rather than the usual ‘contemporary’ things. It is concept album and is a little dated now with its tech shout outs but on the whole its sampling and story and occasional humor stand out.
I am going to be lazy and not direct you to a video site where some idiot riaa person will send a take down note to and thus make that link a waste of time for all.
Midgets, english crooks and Vinnie Jones – aha it must be the cape.

Vinnie Jones before he was ‘famous’ used to play soccer and grab mens meat and two veg. He is one of two evil english crooks in an derivative comic tv series known as the cape which avoids trademark issues for some strange reason or other – oh well thats a surprise.

Our Vinnie is joined by another english villain face it you can’t have too few of them evil Brits.
Along with Sumer Glau who is a ‘blogger/nerd’ thingy so things can only get worse while an oppressed working class american tries to clear his name which is naturally the domain of the superhero.
So pretty girl, working class hero, evil billionaire with english accent and ball grabber Vinny.

Its very one dimensional has echoes of this circus show (my blog) and tries to do a batman begins with a tv budget.
Its not very deep, and gets a few midget jokes in* but feels rather limited from a single look and has some plot holes.
Its timing is an issue, in the first pilot we seem the beginning of the hero and he also wins. Its too fast.
I won’t be continuing with the cape. Should you be working with Vinny then keep at arms length unless you men want something felt up. Perhaps that explains the midgets ?

World War Z, Max Brooks
isbn: 9780715637036 is a terrifying book. It also has a commentary on humans and probably is a close as most people will get to noam chomsky (my blog).
The end of the world is portrayed in many ways – there are the hero’s, the many who did not make it and the survivors. Somehow with its criticism of the msm and the billionaires whom run them i do doubt that this book will ever be made into a film or that aspect will be censored by the Rupert Murdochs and his Chinese allies.

There are jokey zombie films and then you get the george romeo films (my blog) and remakes. I have a sneaking admiration of Planet Terror (my blog) but many zombie films don’t usually appeal But this book asks questions and throws in some good action as it recounts the beginning middle and end of the war of the undead.
A disturbing book but one well worth the read not as fiction but like Swifts Gulliver’s Travels which some might consider a book of fiction but with cutting subtext about humans.

An ipad should apparently be easy to use, I have just heard that my masterfull friend of blowing up any pc with Microsoft windows on it (my blog) has bought an ipad and that it has had to go back.
Hmmmm I wonder what he did – better not ask.

In this [growlaw] see’s the end of Microsoft politics on Novell with Nokia next (my blog) in a couple of years time. With the shareholders agreeing to sell patents to Microsoft and selling the ‘alternative’ to a legacy business it will be interesting how Balmer gets his stock option mojo back in gear probably with some linux threats we hope.
Steve after failing with sco-x, and fooling Ron Hovsepian (which probably wasn’t that hard after all funding sco and suing novell) is now after Nokia. I’m sure Nokia shareholders will like being called a legacy product two years hence.
Its now up to the competition authorities now. More to life than Novell and things probably will get ‘fun’. However what if Novell had better management, had not had thrown away a decent acquirement product with innuendo. And had developed products instead of well doing what it did.

Was on at the http://www.arcolatheatre.com by Ensemble 52. It has an american theme. Ensembe 52 consists of a size of six people and is a dialogue piece which i happen to like.
I have only been to one other Arcola show and they do have some interesting content so I decided to see this show in their new site which is no cavernous space but intimate with a small number of seats. There are no restricted view seats.
As the site is very much early days it might remind some of you drama lessons in secondary school should you be a human
The story to as we forgive them consists of a congressman [Andrew Pearson] and convicted murderer with learning difficulties [Joe Sims] its props are two plastic chairs, one table and an electrical switch. There where convincing accents, solid words. Although this might sound formulaic, it works with surprise ease.
Both cast get to flesh out the issues and motivations and although its very much labour/islington [being that bit of london] requires some thinking from any perspective.

Goodbye Nokia
I have to admit i have never used a Nokia handset, but with a new ceo whom just happens to own a shitload of Microsoft shares means i doubt that Nokia will be arround in two years.
Microsoft took about two years to reduce Ron of Novell into a partnership and from there into MS ownership. No i wont buy a ‘windoze phone’.

Telephone companies dont get the internet.
Well the darlings at t-mobile said i should not buy a smart phone so i did not.
Recently t-mobile tried to slash data usuage allowances for its customers on contract by 80%, its going to happen to new clients so aviod t-mobile clearly somebody there wants to charge you for internet like phone calls.
It raises the question why do we need t-mobile and other carriers clearly they are not up to the job and smart phones either are also bad since they make more than phone calls.
A gaming firm i know is making a games client for andriod clearly something that your not supposed to use your smart phone for.
If mobile phones are going to get retarded then clearly t-mobile are a firm that should be selling Horse and buggies (wiki) clearly these are things of the future and this internet thing wont last.
If your on t-mobile and reading this – your data allowance for the year has just been used up. Sorry
