http://www.botscout.com/ is something that caches bots from sending spam to web forms (with captcha) and forums. I was dismissive of it and tried it as an experiment, three days later and it caught its first example.
It was pretty easy (under five minutes) to figure out and setup and test. Worth it. Bots on the other hand do have limitations and currently are not that tricky.
