The Child Garden, Geoff Ryman

isbn: 057507709, is a book that is quite difficult to obtain from a library because of a ‘gay’ theme*.  However the author whom i like manages a ‘weird’ future in known places well.  A little fragmentary for me but well worth the effort if you like or dislike it.

The book examines society from a child’s perspective who is outside of the average, and who naturally has more effect on it than the majority, at times insightful, and explores unique in a world where unique is always in short supply..

An interesting look at humanity 5/5 bananas.

* i dont make the library rules.
