On 29 May 2011 The Jerusalem Post reported: “British Ambassador Matthew Gould declared his commitment to Israel and the principles of Zionism on Thursday”.
So whats wrong with that well he is the ambassador for the uk, and not an israeli ambassador, who somehow also knew Adam Werritty and caused the odd problem. When one is a representative of a body perhaps its not the best idea to put religion first and queen and country apparently second.
There be will some that will assume a miscommunication, and his association with Mr Werrity are not the movers and shakers of foreign policy that some claim them to be. There is nothing wrong in admiring something in a country or a person but when one perhaps sides with god over rational thought is perhaps rather dangerous.
