a bad dvd that does not encourage reading
Bananas was picking up some books in the library and it was empty due to a lot lot offices moving out and it being the tail end of lunchtime so there’s me, lots of library staff and a human mother and child.
I walk in and mother says to her child.
come and look at the books
So i turn round and notice that those dvd’s are being looked at. When i was a young chimp the library only had books in it. Somehow the local councils grab for cash might be good for its bank but you wonder what it is doing for its schools and reading ages.
Very occasionally i do hire a dvd from my library but dont assume its a big thing. Can books out do films with a constant new audience (not that i have seen the image i show as an example) Yes, but it is hard and many parents dont know the good from the bad.
Somehow there is much wrong with libraries and even the library stuff will admit it as the young child so illustrated by doing.
