Apricot jam and other stories, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

isbn: 9780857863188 is the last ‘known’* writings of Solzhenitsyn who died in 2008.  A lot of war stories in this collection of stories written in the open rather than in secret and in Russia as well after the collapse of communism.  While i admire Solzhenitsyn these documents will show the breadth of the gulag population and nobody can deny his work or those millions who died on the madness of dogma who even Solzhenitsyn offended by writing about.

A mixed bag here from a man of reason.  Perhaps a more honest account of war events than Russians could ever provide.  Twitter hashtags and books dont seem to mix that being my second observation of publishers using them

* with err you know with a pinch of salt.
