As long as Archery Australia allows this kind of behaviour to continue these type of people will continue to shame the sport of archery. This article appeared in the USA and has made it’s way around the world but Archery Australia is still not acting on the complaints it received 6 months ago. These people are Mrs Karina Barnard, Elisa Barnard and Mr Jon Barnard. They have harassed and intimidated Odette at The Continental Qualifying Tournament in New Zealand; Australia Day Open Tournament in the ACT; training camp in Korea; Frog Hollow Archery Club NSW where Mrs Karina Barnard was escorted off the grounds by Security guard; Northern Archers Club in NSW; Sydney Bowmen Archery Club NSW where Police were in attendance and instigated court action against Mr Jon Barnard after he followed and blocked the entrance of the female toilet where Odette was trying to come out from.
You don’t compete in championships by removing your competitors, but this is what these people were successful in doing to Odette leading up to the Olympics.
