How rupert murdoch’s fox killed dollhouse

epitaphoneDollhouse was famous for studio interference.  In fact bets where taken that it would never air. It did after millions of edits.

A first pilot was un-aired was not ‘confusing’ i agree that the pilot rushed things but was acceptable. unlike the poor start it got (my blog).

Epitaph one (an unaired episode) was also good, quite how this was bad in the eyes of i tell you what you want to think Rupert is a point up for discussion.

Newspapers and ’science’ – why paywalls won’t work.

This is review of the book Bad Science by Ben Goldacre, it has an isbn of 9780007284870 ( a revised edition).  I will deal with the paywall aspect later.

Matthias Rath - who causes the death of 300,000 south africans a year from hiv aids.

Matthias Rath vitamin milionaire - who causes the death of 300,000 south africans a year from hiv aids.

This book is a great read and murders anybody who might think newspapers get it right all the time.  The book covers brain gym, beauty creams, homeopathy, some mass murdering vitamin pill sales men (Matthias Rath,Anthony Brink), and not forgetting the best shit smeller (and millionaire vitamin sales lady too) Gillian McKeith in the media business.

It also covers some very bad statistic reporting on the mmr vacine and mrsa, and something on file sharing too (something i rant about) which have been high in being ‘newsworthy‘ in newspaper circles.

The author is a doctor by trade and writes in the guardian newspaper and covers from the mundane foot spas to shit smellers along the lines of the kellogg family (breakfast cereals) say imdb:tt0111001.

The book shows the misunderstanding of science in the world of Rupert Murdoch who wants internet news as a paid item.  The trouble is that if Rupert Murdoch wishes to report lies and not ever check facts then the news product in any form isnt worth paying for in any case.

So what is the lesson we learn ? well the book is a 5/5 bananas read, and newspapers/media need to do better to make sure the saying garbage in – garbage out (GIGO*) does not apply to evil billionaires

Read the book, ignore newspapers (in any form) is the scientific conclusion i reached.

* perhaps Gillian McKeith** might smell Rupert Murdoch’s shit. ** who bought a fake american phd for $60 us dollars*** – thus anybody can be a ‘nutritionist’ even Bananas in the Falklands. **** Dr Bananas in the Falklands phd anybody ?

Why television news is one sided.

Imagine that there is a large demonstration to condemm fraud. How does the news media on tv handle this ? Simple they pick one person out.

example:fraudster (the rbs bank) left, ethics campaigner right

fraudster (the rbs bank) left, ethics campaigner (anti fraud) right.

tv news has no interest in that there where others who did not do what a few did, but if the few did not do what they did then the media would not have given the event any publicity to start with.

So that puts a new spin on things.

Conclusion: ignore all television news.

Fringe – yet another Rupert Murdoch reject

Nasty rash

Nasty rash

Fringe (JJ Abrams) is a x files like tv program that is waiting for Fox to cancel it (as they have done with so many shows – including family guy)

It came up in piece on why fox hate scifi with vengeance. Expect this to be canceled  soon. It feels like a rip of of the x files and some of Charles Stross books.

Fox (Rupert Murdoch) going 100% Chinese ?

Filed under: China, fud, rupert murdoch — bananasfk @ 00:05

Rupert MurdochLet me be frank, Rupert Murdoch is an old media baron pretending to be a stock market business when in fact it is a Family controlled enterprise.

Problem with that ? you think about it.

So if you own any shares in Murdoch your a sucker. I will not argue that it produces something its the editorial freedom, his unwillingness to pay tax (see John Pilger) are known failures too

But – The family are falling out – which leaves the new young chinese wife as successor.

Will Murdoch’s evils empire spout the Chinese propaganda line – yes, and if your shareholder your going to loose your money.

What a perfect match – China and Murdoch- think about it.

Doll House

dollyDollhouse is by Joss Wheldon whom writes for fox and has the terrible problem of that his shows getting cancelled by the great mind controller Rupert Murdoch.

It was pleasant to see Reed Diamond (left) again, the material of Dollhouse itself was odd with no direction in the script (which apparently went through many rewrites) and an somewhat odd conclusion.

It felt a bit like bionic woman, without the bionic.

Not sure about this 1/5 bananas.  Mind you thats with the thought control.

John Pilger, Hidden Agendas

Filed under: Books, Politics, media rants, media&democracy, rupert murdoch, uk — Tags: — bananasfk @ 00:05

is a book (isbn: 0099741512) and was picked up since Market Forces (my blog) gave it a mention. Mr Pilger is one of awkward media figures which means he is quite difficult and does not do spin. That’s quite upsetting to politicians, fortunately he see’s the irony too.

The book is a little depressing to read but it makes good on Rupert Murdoch bashing and covers a range of politicians of the left and the right and the usual suspects are there.

His coverage of msm and the few who control it tell an interesting story, he also cautions that not all press barons (Maxwell) have the truth as the priority.

The book wonders globally and points finger both at the left and the right and whatever your politics there’s something here that will make you think. Worth a read

In the copy i read whole pages had been marked in pencil* being important by a previous reader

5/5 Bananas. * dual use wmd material

Alan Moore and the curse of Rupert Murdoch.

Alan Moore for those of you who don’t know is the person behind v for vendetta (my blog) and watchmen two important adult graphic novells which even Hollywood decided they could ruin.

Mr Moore is an englishman who’s work is genuinely fucked up by hollywood and even he has given up on the film versions (with good reason too) .

The good news is that evil thought controller Rupert Murdoch has decided that he owns the film rights to watchmen and so the other people making a film of it now cannot show it.

Mr Moore it appears has found a ’savour’, i do recommend a read of watchmen, but it just proves what the thought controller does not want you see really happens.

I’m not complaining, but my argument does stand up and Rupert Murdoch and Fox are really deciding on what you may or may not see.  Well that’s one less comic movie next summer – phew.

blessed be the Rupert Murdoch.

Dark Knight (you know with the dead actor)

Filed under: Brokeback Mountain, Film Reviews, Graphic Novels, Hollywood, rupert murdoch — Tags: — bananasfk @ 00:05
hell im leaving this sequel now.

hell i'm leaving this sequel now.

Ever since Dark Knight (imdb:tt0468569) came out and before people in the ‘MSM’ have seem to be claiming it is ‘amazing’*** etc. It follows on from the mildly boring first film (my blog) with added eastern zingy zen . I decided to take a look after some really truly awful pr*** pieces (this is release version 3 you suckers) about the blueray version in the media apparently now on release.

Sorry but i can’t justify blueray to save my life – i cannot see anything wrong with dvd.

So a dvd was located and Bananas watched the ‘brilliant’ mr Ledger (of gay cowboy fame) do his ’stuff’.

The first thing to be said is the change of location of gotham (eg new york) to Chicago so that’s half the styling of the first film out of the window., out go the tall buildings and something a kin to a normal city is created. Then the actors from film one quickly desert this sequel pile of poo, first is the love interest, and then Mr Freeman (image).

I cannot blame them for leaving, but i will give the the creator the guts to finally admit he was wrong to ignore the the batman year one graphic novell* in his first film as most of the characters look like they came from the comic book in the film.

The problem is that to get the project green lighted Mr Nolan the director had to resort to a brand name evil hero and throws in hundreds of car chases** to attract people to see it. Thus the ’saint sigmound freud’ stuff plays second fiddle to all that.

It is an entertaining 2/5 hours of film but no second viewing feeling and a no ‘i dont want to see that again’ response. Since the film is mostly car chases any debate on ethics is sidelined and means i do not understand why people and the msm want to rave about Mr Ledgers performance in the way they continue do.

The Joker is good i will admit but in the context of the graphic novell i note above not required since he is not in it, or is Mr Dent for that matter, Bananas views on DA’s for the record are useless (think of washingtion state [near canada]) and with the change of location make the film a confused mix of batman we all are aware of into a popcorn pleaser.

The film fails since it is just an action film, the inclusion of the best bits of batman villians means any further films will suffer from the lack of these characters.

0/5 bananas. – don’t expect any more batman films soon since best of it has been used up for this decade.

Expect more msm hype at the Oscars.

* i have read ** somebody died *** Rupert Murdochs owned both film studies and the press – so it has to be good right ?
