Grace the posh one from Big Brother (2006) has won* the Circus program (wiki link) which you could also get for ‘free’ on sky 3 on freeview (final was 24th december 2006), and will no doubt be repeated to death until your all sick of circus tents and acts with motor bikes, bits of metal and well known snippets of pop music.
While those things looked tricky it was a guilty pleasure and gives the circus a nice profile since its at a cross roads of either being animals/magic/or pro theatre direction but not all three, but i’m sure every circus owner whould love to charge the ‘sunny circus from Canada‘ prices for shows.
Something i found amusing here everything boils down to the chicken or egg and what actually came first. Mikey (Graces bb7 boyfriend) is still hanging on, but alas Grace might be running away to the circus quite what was won was another matter but it the single winner is something tv likes as a format I can now apply it to the sports tv event. So since i’ve gone and opened pandoras box on sky let me continue on an berate unpatrotic Rupert Murdoch viewers for not caring enough about the cricket **
Apparently England lost the cricket to a bunch of theives in Australia***, it was not on the bbc but apparently im told that Rupert Murdochs sky viewers had it and where not doing there duty.
Since Sky viewers are all loaded, they all should have gone out there and supported the cricket team in person rather than pay to watch it on tv that is something chavs do.
My point is this if sporting events like this are not on mainstream tv (about 5% pay for Sky sports with the event) then does it actually matter ? and should it really be classed as international sport too? Since you could also argue that sport is for homosexuals (all male or female teams) Then it was good that the bbc failed to aqquire the tv rights for this sports outing to sunny Australia.
Economics time now if you bid for tv rights it would’nt be great if say the bbc/boradcaster might only pay if ‘we’ win just like there is in programs like Big Brother etc. Now that would scare the pants of the sporting bodies if all tv companies broadcast sport in that way****.
What can you learn from this.
- paying to watch sport on sky promotes homosexuality
- sky viewers should have supported the team in person
- Sport doesnt matter
Finally ‘Lost’ – Rupert Murdoch (right) is a mind controller, the Chinese Government also approve of him too. He controls Sky a English tv operation and poached ‘Lost’ from normal tv (free) to pay tv to some outrage.
Most Sky viewers it appears are a bit lame brained – only two bloggers its appears wrote about Battlestar since it was on the other night. This is not about Battlestar but you get my point. Lost a program about mental ilness on a Desert island apparently which i’ve never seen.
It was popular for some strange reason, but mind control man had other ideas. According to reports the suckers whom be lost fans on Sky have to endure this sort of thing
hello
<ten minutes of adverts>
two words od dialogue
three minutes of adverts
etc
Why because mind control man hates lost fans and they need to mind controlled, So Rupert overpaid for Lost rights, if i was a lost fan i’d certainly think about giving it up, i wouldnt pay that kind of mind control however mentally sick i was.
Its one way to kill a tv series i will grant him that. And another 501 reasons not to have Sky. Im sure Rupert will be redirecting his mind control probe at me for saying bad things about his customers and himself.
* something of a foregone conclusion imho
** cricket is game of about five days played in a few places
*** I’ve read the booker prize book The Secret River, Kate Grenvile
**** no win no fee ?
