Amazon’s aws amuses me.

Bananas has spoken of aws before (my blog) and for a change i de-firewalled those ranges for a month.  The attacks or ‘bad  protocol’ still came. Regardless of the entries I also spotted a new range of addresses.

I decided to create a abuse report and off i went to a very hard to find aws/amazon web form.  I only made it there once.

retardI fill in the form, which seems to prove that aws employs retarded fleas with questions like what ports where attacked.  I fill in the captcha too. Successful at that then the fun begins.

postfix/postscreen[18608]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from []:42964:
450 4.3.2 Service currently unavailable; from=<>, to=<abuse@x>, proto=ESMTP,

If postscreen (my blog) wont let it through then clearly aws is mega retarded.

Contact after that was lost. Enigmatic is a word for these ‘cloud‘ services should you be thinking that is just a single example.

are-you-serious-wtf-meme-baby-faceI rest my case about amazon and those extra ranges for aws also appear to include

  • 64.0.0/13

I have no idea why or wish to do free technical support for Jeff and co at as to why postscreen said no,but it usually has good reasons.

Happy blocking
