Bananas was sharing a banana with the tribe when the large retail bricks and mortar shop came up for discussion. Apparently somebody was looking at pots and pans where deemed expensive, and fabric was not in stock. Although they went to a shop to buy it it was delivered to the zoo as no stock of the fabric was in stock.
Somehow the future of retail (ikea inspired?) seems to be here sooner than i thought it would although it does make logical sense for them.
The tribe was not so sure about this progress but then pans where found cheaper elsewhere and the stuff ordered did turn up so a win for both of us.
Anyhow i was not bothered and think the arrangement works well after all stock costs money to somebody and the arrangement has efficiencies for some although retail branding might be considered a loser in this.
