As the monkey house is a reader of the Bush Telegraph (my blog) it came to our attention that after scrabble was now not the main economic activity there any longer then the pleadings from zimbabwe charities for western money started it appears that self reliance means they want hand outs from what was there oppressors.
Kind of weird that. – why now i wonder.*
The paper insert which I immediately put in the zoo’s recycling specifically mentioned rape, destitution and and no doubt many other problems NEVER existed until last week and the charity appeared to blame the west for all of it’s zimbabwe ills and not its responsible ‘accountable’ leaders, or the chinese something my brain had issues with.
No mention was made that for 40 years the economic mismanagement was done by its indigenous population by one party state rule or mention that China is now a colonial power there (my blog)
If that is the result then they certainly do not need money that will be further mismanaged or end up in wrong hands eventually in swiss banks. Hey your doing fine zimbabwe and certainly do not need western help unless grace needs a new handbag from Gucci..
As an ape who is not a Gucci sales professional it seems i cannot help and that is for the best.
*this is something you can think on
zimbabwe is a place famous for my hate of bob parsons (my blog) and dubious experiments in kleptocracy (my blog) add a tablespoon of model torturing (my blog) and even your most retarded african brain will begin to wonder if there is a problem at the top thirty seven years later.
Grace Mugabe seems to be the point where things went ‘wrong’ and even the Chinese (my blog) have seen that non meritocracy politics have gone too far since they have the main interest there..
Since no doubt the Mugabe’s are multi billionaires* it appears that forty years of beating the cow has finally resulted in the cow getting upset.
However as there is no real economy i somehow doubt that zimbabwe will now become a spammers paradise becuase of china and the average zimbabwean still owes china a huge amount of debt so while independence was had, they have since sold it back to the Chinese wholesale as logic works. Asian colonizing ?
It shall be interesting to see how zanu pf can avoid forty years of tainted corruption as a record and having sold zimbabwe to China if they or the other lot can improve the lot of the many not just the mugabes.
Anyhow that is what they have done with independence. Blackmans’ burden caused by there own will not some colonial power. Winning a game of scrabble is not the aim but its a nice hobby for those elderly types.
*not loaf of bread rich, but swiss bank account holders
Have heard of .ren ? or Renren Inc – apparently it is a chinese social media thing not skincare which made it an odd sighting in the mail.log
Anyhow i am none the wiser but i do wonder if this use of .ren breaks the icann rules of the global top level domain i mean the zoo is not in China. If somebody can pass this along to the great firewall f china team it be most appreciated.
In this (my blog) I explored botnets
Most of the existing data remains the same in trend except for this isp in China who is either blissfully ignorant, or quite happy to allow it and which i keep logging.
Whatever the reason i remain ready to keep logging them from Huashu media&Network Limited when this (not here) tells me there are 3,216 spam hosts so only 3089 entries to go.

An increase of 36 reports. Some people collect pokemon i collect chinese botnet ip’s. Fun.
Barbies Ken at work
Bananas likes engineering (my blog) but a news item about ‘boys’ engineering type toys* made me stop and wonder about the outsourcing model and the old firm whom appear to do very little now or innovate i would not wish to give them ideas.
The news item was that a new ‘computer’ stock system that seemed to mean either China was not making the items for reasons best known to them, or that the firm [Hornby] bought stock that did not exist. Needless to say there order book was empty as well so it appears that neither side lost much.
Either way alarm bells sounded – so is China making things or is it not? It appears that nobody knows what is going on hence the cry for assistance that reached our ears.
Remind you of Orwells chocolate ration anybody
the Ministry of Plenty had issued a promise (a “categorical pledge” were the official words) that there would be no reduction of the chocolate ration during 1984. Actually, as Winston was aware, the chocolate ration was to be reduced from thirty grams to twenty at the end of the present week
Its not something on our shopping list.
isbn: 9791447290643 is not about flying carpets* but e-commerce in china. Non technical but an interesting look at how ebay screwed up and that local often works better even when human rights and counterfeit products which both amazon, ebay also suffer from.
4/5 Bananas – insightful
isbn: 9780307956989 is a 270 page book sans notes and is this (my blog). An economist pick too in December last year and i finally lost my library queuing zen* in August, The copy in kent is still out to the same person i know this as the queue has not moved in months.
Being that is is somehow a hard read based on that person in Kent I left the book for a day, and in one day i read eight pages in five minutes. Not a hard read.
Later on I read about Mozambique and find that i am on page 45, I am going to beat that record 210 days to read 270 pages. It will be interesting to see how africa will regard china in some decades to come, and the tenuous legal deals to acquire assets and who and who will not be protected of Chinese citizenry / descent is a point i will make in seriousness rather than boast about page counts..
‘Rendezvous’ strikes me as a complex word however in the context of european languages spoken its not that hard too know what it might mean, i can assure you that it does not involve a chicken,
Anyhow three days after getting this book i had read it in two which means i read 135 pages a day.
An interesting sideways look at china where saving face and local laws mean it might be seen as something else but please do not tell the left wingers (my blog) that ok.
I think i have insulted some library user in Kent enough now. Yep.
* i use a library to keep them open as it is great service normally.
isbn: 9781783600670 is a book about clothes of whom Mary Portas (my blog) is guilty of many crimes.
The first chapter deals with jeans from cotton to production, and the aftermarkets and Karl Marx gets the odd mention. Its informative and globalised.
The authors make a leap too far with banana prices trying to link prices to free markets rather than colonial quotas of which the wto and americans did not like so i am not sure what the authors consider worse. Quite how bananas and cotton are related in prices could be a problem can also be said to affect northern farmers as well as southern* farmers in all markets.
Alisher Usmanov who owns a football club
The author also barely mentions Uzbekistan (my blog) which might have something to do Tony Blair being friendly with the local oligarch after all everything is great there with film stars picking cotton for there billionaire ruler (rare bbc ‘news’). Being pro worker is another problem after all if even the Chinese can be accused of being colonial and that bosses are bad even the communist ones is a point made at page 140 although it feels an admission of failure being those lot are doing it as well.
Movement from manufacturers and retailers in recycling is also criticised despite the damage charity operations do in developing countries. The economics interest the author more but its a thoughtful book despite a hint of regret about how things work and who is doing them be they sjw’s or right minded thinkers..
4/5 bananas. * south means hot, where north is cold not the border at watford (humour)
isbn: 9781848044717 is about the one child generation in china. Maligned in many ways either by gender (my blog), ‘freedom’, or spoilt aka little emperors there is no pleasing anybody.
This is a sideways look at a select bunch of the one child generation in the west and it dodges questions with the added protection of aliases none of whom is a banana which saddened me its an insult to bananas everywhere.
Quite interesting and a bit flowery 1/5 bananas.
isbn: 9780199347704 is an interesting if brief book on 1989 events It throws a lot of light on nationalist china as an dogma when corruption and other crimes are deemed a longer term issue.
Either china learns from something that never happened or it becomes a regional problem.
